New book announcement! I’ll have another middle grade novel out in the summer of 2025. The Blue Hearts is about a boy named Max who finds an injured octopus on the beach after a storm. He takes the octopus to a wildlife rehab and helps take care of her throughout the summer, while also making some new friends and discovering more about himself.
Cover reveal! I’m so happy to share the beautiful cover of my next novel, The Secret Language of Birds, coming out on April 9, 2024. Like Song For a Whale, this cover was illustrated by the amazing Leo Nickolls. Read more in my interview with John Schu.
